3 Quai Stalingrad

This was the address of Simone Ginibre in Boulogne, my agent just outside of Paris. Under the name Simone Chevalier she sang with the Bud Powell trio in the posh right-bank club, The Bluenote for seven years. Her husband, Jean-Louis was the editor of the French "Jazz Magazine" and was chiefly responsible for getting me exposed to the European audiences in the late 60's.
