Gene and I were brothers in E flat. Sometimes we would be listening to a record and he would ask me if that was me or him on lead alto. Half the time I couldn't tell. Neither could he. Man! He was the last of the red hot white guys! Like to party and play! So did I! We had a ball. I miss the hell out of him! We made some good records. Listen to them! That is the way that shit goes!
