We were vacationing in the San Francisco/Oakland area. So we were there when the guys recorded this CD. It was a very exciting concert--full of energy, warmth, melodic phrasing and fabulous chops all around. I hadn't heard Bud Shank in a while and was so grateful that I had this opportunity to hear him play live. He was awesome, as were Mike, Bob and Bill. The audience could not have been more appreciative and respectful of the talent that was on stage. (I even got to kiss Phil!) I've just ordered the CD and can't wait to play it. It will be a great addition to our Phil Woods collection....too many to count.
