Round Trip

"This tune was composed and recorded in 1971 during my European sojourn. After not recording very much jazz before I left all of a sudden I was an active be-bopper again. Festivals and a couple of albums in France (Alive & Well) and "Round Trip' for Johnny Pate, bass player and A&R man out of Chicago for MGM. He also bought the Montreux album. I went back to France with more money than I had ever seen! Thank you old friend -Johnny is alive and well and living in Las Vegas."
